– Thermodynamics, kinetics, and the development of new resource-saving processes for the primary extraction of metals from ores;
– Theoretical foundations for the creation of new technological processes of steel refining;
– Metallization of iron ore and peculiarities of pellet production;
– Improvement of the gas-dynamic regime of blast furnace smelting;
– Production of refractory and superhard materials;
– Processes for obtaining non-ferrous alloys;
– Operation of the main electrical and structural units of electro-alloy and electric steelmaking units;
– Special types of coke;
– Casting technologies;
– Processes of primary compression (or breakdown) of crystallized metal and cold deformation;
– Mathematical modeling of technological processes and computer processing of experimental data;
– Multiphase crystallization of alloys, and principles of structure formation in carbon alloys;
– Stress-strain state, stability, and destruction of structural elements of technological equipment;
– Measurement, control, and automation of thermal processes;
– Maintenance of metallurgical units for safety monitoring.
The article should be structured as follows:
UDC
Article Authors in Ukrainian (Last Name, Initials)
Article Title in Ukrainian (sentence case, no more than 15 words, no hyphenation/word breaks)
[Blank Line]
Article Authors in English (Last Name, Initials)
Article Title in English (sentence case, no more than 15 words, no hyphenation/word breaks)
[Blank Line]
Abstract in Ukrainian (at least 1800 characters without spaces). The abstract should reflect the research topic, aim, and methods, describe the main results and conclusions, and highlight the novelty and practical value of the research. The abstract should not literally repeat the text of the article or its title, nor contain material absent from the article. The subject, topic, and aim of the research are indicated if they are not clear from the article's title. Research results should be described as precisely and informatively as possible. Key theoretical and experimental results, factual data, identified interconnections, and patterns should be provided. Preference should be given to new scientific results and data with practical significance. The abstract text should avoid complex grammatical constructions or general formulations. The abstract must not contain abbreviations or formulas created using a formula editor, and must be written exclusively using Latin or Cyrillic alphabet characters.
Keywords in Ukrainian (5-6 keywords, separated by commas)

Abstract in English (at least 1800 characters without spaces). The requirements are the same as for the Ukrainian abstract.
Keywords in English
[Blank Line]
Article text in Ukrainian or English, consisting of the following mandatory structural elements:
1. Introduction. This section presents the problem statement (research task), relevance, analysis of recent research and publications, highlighting the unresolved part of the problem and the aim of the research. The justification of the research's relevance must be supported by references to literature published within the last 5-10 years, indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science. The phrases "...aim of the work..." or "...aim of the research..." must be present at the end of the "Introduction" section.
2. Materials and Methods (or Methods). This section provides the core content, elucidating the research execution sequence and rationalizing the selection of materials, methods, and methodologies. Its detailed nature should allow for a comprehensive evaluation of the appropriateness of these choices, alongside the reliability, validity, and reproducibility of the study's findings.
3. Results and Discussion. Results and Discussion. This section of the article must contain a detailed description of the original research results and their analysis.
Conclusions. This section should summarize the key findings of the research and state the main conclusions drawn from them. It should also highlight the significance and implications of the results, and may suggest directions for future research.

References. References to literary sources (including monographs, articles in peer-reviewed scientific publications, handbooks, standards, and other normative literature) must be formatted according to APA-Style (7th edition) and must include the DOI of the source.
To ensure broad referencing, the following limitations apply:
Self-citations: References to previously published works by the article's authors (self-citations) should not exceed 15% of the total number of references.
Journal-specific citations: References to articles published in "Theory and Practice of Metallurgy" should not exceed 15% of the total number of references.
Indexed sources: At least 50% of the total citations must be to sources indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science scientometric databases.
Transliteration Guidelines. Sources published in Ukrainian or another language using the Cyrillic alphabet should be transliterated into Latin script according to the passport standard. Authors are recommended to use the following websites for transliteration:
translit.kh.ua (for Ukrainian language transliteration);
translit.site (for transliteration of other Cyrillic-based languages).
